Mushrooms are a good source of nutrition for the village and are relatively easy to grow. With this in mind, Kasupe has built a large mushroom house, and grows several crops each month to sell to local businesses, and to use at the school.
In 2013 Kasupe Primary opened the first 2 of 8 classrooms, transforming the lives of 216 children.
