A STRONG START

A STRONG START

Early years education sets the pace for everything that follows.

Our purpose-built nursery is the first of its kind in the area and now educates about 190 children aged three to five. A qualified teacher leads learning through songs, stories and play that build early literacy, motor skills and confidence. The nursery opened fully in 2025 after careful planning with local families and leaders. It grew from a simple truth. Young children need spaces designed for them.

The results show up when pupils move into Standard 1. Children arrive used to routines. They recognise letters and numbers. They can work in small groups and ask for help. Teachers report stronger concentration and fewer pupils repeating a year. Parents say mornings are calmer because school feels familiar and welcoming. These gains are practical and lasting.

We match the nursery with other basics that matter. Daily meals so children are not trying to learn while hungry. Clean water and handwashing on site. Safe toilets, including a changing room for girls as they grow through the school. Small, predictable supports make the difference between surviving a school day and thriving in it.

If you have seen clips of circle time on our social channels, this is the longer story. It is about designing for early learners, training staff, and joining the dots with nutrition and water. The goal is simple. Give children a fair start so they enter primary school ready to learn.
